2026 Opportunities

  • Stake FamilySearch Weekend, March 6-8

    Here are some ways you can participate from your computer or phone:

    •Sign in to FamilySearch.org or Family Tree on smartphone

    •Add information about an ancestor--documents, photos, stories, audio or sources

    •Add an ancestor you have found recently

    •Click on Get Involved at the top of the FamilySearch site

    •Review Names or Verify Places--it takes just a few minutes

    •Download the FamilySearch Get Involved app on your phone and try reviewing names (it's easier than you think in your native language or one of the other languages offered)

    •Select an ancestor for temple ordinances

    •Join RootsTech free genealogy conference virtually March 5-7 and watch some fun, interesting, and helpful videos. You will be surprised!

    Enjoy the weekend learning something new about your family history!

    Why Volunteer?

    We may not solve world hunger immediately, but we're convinced that by serving with each other in our local communities, we're paving the way for much broader changes. Our individual efforts don't need to be huge—a little bit of change here, a few hours there—but even small efforts quickly add up to make a real difference.

    As we work side-by-side and learn from each other, mutual understanding increases, misconceptions can be corrected, and new friendships are built.

From Christmas to Easter, and through out the year remembering the Savior can be done with simple and genuine ways as we:

  • Love and serve others

  • Share gratitude expressed for His life and teachings.

  • Invite others to worship Jesus Christ with us

Remembering Jesus Christ is not meant to be done alone. It is strengthened when shared, within families, among friends, and across communities. Inviting others into this journey may look like:

  • Welcoming someone to join a meaningful tradition

  • Sharing a personal reflection of hope or faith

  • Offering support during a difficult season or simply walking beside someone with Christlike love

Each act, no matter how small, becomes a testimony of Him.

    This class will be held every Tuesday morning at 10am to 11:30am. Email Sister Katrina Olson at knkids11@gmail.com to be added to the class email list.

    I am excited to continue our study of President Nelson's teachings as we celebrate his 101st birthday!

    We will begin our study on September 23.

    I invite you to study these resources to discover what the Lord is teaching us through His chosen prophet. I am excited to learn from the promptings you receive and share!
